original residence/office.
Dr. Dafoe, the world famous country doctor to the Dionne Quintuplets, lived and worked in
this seven room residence from 1914 to 1943. The Dionne collections here is extensive.
Dr.Dafoe's original dispensary has been preserved. His furniture, equipment and many
unique photos are displayed. An entire room is devoted to the quintuplets themselves. It
contains clothing, books, photos and product endorsements. One of the most unique aspects
of the collection is the complete series of still photos taken while filming "The
Country Doctor". There is also a sizeable collection of newspaper and magazine
